A L was born November 4, 1925 on the farm in Bailey County, Texas. He attended Muleshoe public
schools, graduating from high school in 1944 and served with the U. S. Army in Germany.
A L married Elizabeth (Betty) Ann Rackley and settled in Jal, New Mexico to raise four children, two boys and two girls. He worked as a carpenter most of his life. After a divorce, A L moved to Albuquerque and stayed single for many years before eventually marrying Betty Jo Gamble on June 13, 1992.
A L died in Lea, New Mexico on April 17, 2001.
